Musical Year in Review 2017

I think we can all agree that this year - these past few years, really - in music has been absolutely phenomenal, especially in the realm of hip-hop, funk, and R&B. Thanks to the internet, underground favorites are releasing stellar mainstream projects, climbing charts, and finally receiving the applause/recognition they deserve. Although some still don't get the applause they deserve, they continue to work and stay true to the art...and that's the most important part.
